Pregnancy By Precum

Precum or Pre-ejaculate is a white, transparent fluid that penis releases before the actual ejaculation. Precum is alkaline in nature and thus clears up any acidity due to urine. Sperm has a higher chance of survival if it’s in an alkaline environment. Pre-Cum also lubricates the channel to let spermatozoa a.k.a sperms flow easily through the passage.

The interesting thing to note is, Pre-Cum does contain some sperms and most men might not even notice discharging it. So basically, the famous PULL-OUT method to prevent pregnancy is not only ineffective, it also doesn’t protect you against sexually transmitted diseases.

Pregnancy from Precum

So We can get Pregnant by Precum, right?

Well, the answer can be tricky. Most investigations have shown that Precum contains dead or no sperm at all. However, sometimes small amounts of sperm can get into pre-ejaculate. Another reason that can cause pre-cum to contain sperm is when you have had an ejaculation a while before. Some sperm lines up the passage and can come out in precum. Therefore, it’s recommended to urinate after ejaculation if you want to increase the chances of the pull-out method to work. Urination creates an acidic environment which kills the leftover sperm.

Remember, it takes just 1 little soldier of yours to fertilize the egg. Even if one sperm reaches the vaginal canal, it can cause fertilization and pregnancy.

Also, sperm can stay inside woman’s body for around 5 days or more and if the woman is in her fertile window, it can again increase the chances of pregnancy.

Can Grinding Cause Pregnancy?

Grinding is basically dry humping, which is done with clothes on, wearing only underwear or sometimes, without clothes too. When it’s done without clothes the penetration is not deep enough.

Generally speaking, there is very very low chance of you getting pregnant with grinding. Almost equivalent to when you would be wearing a condom.

To get pregnant, the small amount of sperm would have to make way through the entire canal without much help from the passages that are formed during deep penetration. The possibility of pregnancy is extremely low with this kind of scenario.

What if I am on contraception?

Combining any birth control method can almost nullify the chances of getting pregnant from deeper penetration and ejaculation so getting pregnant from precum is next to impossible.

It’s always better to play smart and use contraception. If you are trying to avoid getting pregnant, you should always make sure to have ample amounts of protection to keep you safe.

Hi, I am Andrea and I had sex with my bf on 1st June. It was unprotected sex and also on that, I lost my virginity. Again next week we have multiple times sex but we used condoms (protected sex). Recently, my best friend shared a link https://thelifesquare.com/pregnant-from-precum-8575481/ with me. After reading and searching online I got a different answer. Now, I am a bit worried because my period is delayed for 2 weeks. Becuase, I had sex with my bf on 25 June. Is, I am Pregnant? I am worried to take a pregnancy test.
